When you’re on the casting gear be careful what you wish for and this certainly was not our intended target or intention but when your casting you never know what’s going to take the lure and i suppose at some point you are always going to hook a BUFFALO 🦬 🤦‍♂️.

This fish today was our biggest ever on the spinning gear and lures and possibly up there with our biggest ever but unfortunately we never got the chance to measure it or get it on the lip hook as the shear size was to big to control boat side on the gear and line it was on so the best we managed was a leadered fish boat side and not just touched.

You can only imagine the battle and a fish of well over the magic 100inches is a different breed of strength and stamina 💪.

A fantastic team effort and believe me it was so well done to regulars Gary and the Boys for what can only be described as an experience none of us will ever forget 🙌.

If your going to ask me to estimate the weight i will be honest and realistic and can only say it was over 600lb but we will never know so just believe me it was massive and not to be repeated hopefully 😅

Congratulations to Shimano on the new Stella 25000 because how that real ever survived what we put it through i will never know and i wouldn’t worry about how much drag it’s got because believe me you will never last long enough on full drag 😅💪

What a experience 🏆

We ended another wee

We ended another week today week 3 in some style with England v Scotland pair up and it ended a draw with 6 total and dropped 3 and countless hits on the baits.

The week has been good with one day in the middle where the fish just would not bite and we can only put it down the the silky sea conditions so yes whilst calm days are great there not always the best conditions for fishing.

Many many catch’s many frustrating moments with all
the ups and downs of fishing but everyone has seen a caught plenty of tuna and on a variety of techniques.

Weather looking good again for another week so thank you to all of this weeks crews and we look forward to welcoming next weeks for more TUNA action.

Photo dump and apologies for the double loading not sure what happened there with fb hope i haven’t missed anyone out as it’s hard to keep track

Thanks again Sam & Neal
