Home of fishing & Wildlife St Ives

Yellowfin is a 10m cougar and one of England’s largest newest and fastest catamarans. Built and designed specifically for offshore fishing. She’s powered by twin 315hp Diesel engines giving a top speed of 30knots and a Cruzing speed of 20knots. She has an island wheelhouse so can fish the whole 10m on each side and a 5m x 4m open deck space with undercover seating and on deck WC.

the skipper

I started working with my family on Bluefin Charters when I was younger as a deckhand. Having spent most of my life on and around boats I have become a keen angler and Skipper on Yellowfin alongside my father, Sam. We are a family-run business, with my younger brother James, who skippers the low water tender, which takes you out to the boats at low tide, and Danielle, managing the office and taking the bookings. Both vessels are licensed/coded by Mecal/MCA and carry all required safety equipment, plus the fin nor rods, and reels we provided are also the best on the market.

Private Charters

We offer full-day private charters so that you can get the most out of your trip.
